| Position Description | |
We are currently searching for Intermediate and Senior Bridge Engineers for our Ottawa Office. The candidate would design and manage delivery of transportation structure projects, including highway, railway, pedestrian and movable bridges, retaining walls, transit stations, drainage structures and special projects. Duties include inspection, evaluation, analysis, design, cost estimating, tender preparation, shop drawing review, and construction administration as well as project management, proposal writing, and employee mentoring for the senior position. You will also have responsibilities for quality control and assurance. You will be joining a dynamic office active on a broad range of transportation projects for a variety of public and private sector clients. |

| Requirements | |
Candidates should have the following qualifications: · Undergraduate degree in structural engineering from an accredited university · Post-graduate degree is an asset · 3 - 10 years of relevant experience · Eligible for professional registration with PEO · Strong background in analysis and design of concrete and steel structures · Experience in inspection, assessment, analysis and design of bridges and stations · Experience in local design and construction practices · Proven project management experience and leadership skills · Proven experience working with and managing client expectations · Ability to lead and mentor other engineers · Excellent command of English language, both written and spoken · Strong organizational skills · Committed team player |
