Ecoplans' senior staff have considerable experience in preparing for and providing expert testimony and peer review services. We provide expert testimony at various tribunals, including Ontario Municipal Board. We undertake peer reviews on behalf of municipal clients as well as private clients/landowners. Peer reviews range in scale, encompassing environmental planning, terrestrial/aquatic resources, landscape ecology/architecture, and hydrogeology issues, and dealing with linear facilities, aggregate extraction, and land development proposals. Examples of services include:
- Preparation of witness statements and supporting documentation
- Provision of expert testimony at various tribunals
- Assisting legal staff with various matters, both before and during Hearings
- Reviewing documents/reports prepared by others and providing technical advice
- Preparing peer review documentation based on the above review
