Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting on-site environmental inspections.
• Thoroughly documenting site conditions and activities to ensure compliance with the various permit requirements (MOE, CA, MNR, DFO, etc.).
• Responding to and resolving client concerns.
• Liaising with staff at affiliate offices, contract administrators, sub-contractors and clients.
• Preparation of daily site inspection reports, construction monitoring reports and record of construction conditions.

• College Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in planning/environmental field.
• Previous experience with permits and the permit requirements of the MOE, CA, MNR and DFO an asset.
• Working knowledge of environmental legislation including Ontario Environmental Assessment Act and Canadian Environmental Assessment Act.
• Familiarity with contract drawings, EA, Geotechnical Investigations and Drainage Reports.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work outdoors.
• Possess a valid Ontario driver license and access to a vehicle is required.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to present information and issues in a clear and concise manner.

• Proven ability to work in a construction environment.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel and CADD software.
• Self motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent organizational abilities.
• Attention to detail and production of high quality work.
• Superior communication skills (verbal and written).
• Must be confident and able to relate with people in a team environment.
• Must demonstrate a collaborative attitude in working with members of the team.
• Previous consultant experience would be an asset.

• Water resource investigation and assessment, carrying out Phase I and II ESAs, landfill site environmental performance monitoring and investigations.
• As part of an integrated multi disciplinary project team provide Hydrogeologic support for Project Managers primarily based throughout Ontario.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be expected to have the following qualifications:

• Must be licensed as a practicing P.Geo. (or eligible for licensure)
• Must hold a four year B.Sc. in the Earth Sciences or Environmental Engineering. MSc. in Hydrogeology preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in the site contamination and hydrogeological field work complimented with good report writing and data management skills.
• Must have strong computer skills.
• Applicants must hold a valid Ontario Drivers License and a vehicle is required.

• Carrying out Phase I and II ESAs, Site Clean-ups/Remediation, Hydrogeological Investigations and EM Surveys in their entirety including planning, organizing, supervising field staff, and report writing.

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed as a practicing P.Geo. (or eligible for licensure) or P.Eng.
• Must hold a four year B.Sc. in the Earth Sciences or Environmental Engineering.
• Must have a minimum of 5-10 years of direct consulting experience in site contamination and hydrogeological field work with proven report writing skills.
• Must have strong computer skills.
• Applicants must hold a valid Ontario Drivers License and a vehicle is required.

• Assisting environmental planners with Class EA and Individual EA projects and proposals
• Compiling environmental information through internal and external contacts
• Developing and implementing consultation programs
• Responding to and resolving stakeholder concerns
• Liaising with staff at affiliate offices and with project sub-consultants
• Assisting in the preparation of EA documentation

• Bachelor's Degree in planning/environmental field
• Previous experience in application of MTO/Municipal Class EA process an asset
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Working knowledge of Environmental legislation including Ontario Environmental Assessment Act, Canadian Environmental Assessment Act
• Possess valid Ontario driver license and access to a vehicle is required
• Effective written and oral communication skills
