  On October 25th, 2003 the 35th Annual Canadian Consulting Engineering Awards presentations were held at the Fort Garry Hotel in Winnipeg.  McCormick Rankin Corporation and Ecoplans Limited won an Award of Excellence for the Bayview Avenue Extension project for the Regional Municipality of York.

The design of a road through the Oak Ridges Moraine north of Toronto has generated valuable research in creating wetlands and amphibian crossings.  Award of Excellence - Bayview Avenue Extension

Environmental
Achievement Award
 
  On October 4, 1999 the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) awarded its 1998 Environmental Achievement Award to the Maritime Road Development Corporation (MRDC). The Award was accepted by David Garner, Project Manager, MRDC at TAC’s Annual Conference in Saint John, New Brunswick.

MRDC was the winning consortium in a public-private partnership with the Province of New Brunswick to build Canada’s longest toll road. McCormick Rankin Corporation (MRC) and it's subsidiary Ecoplans Limited, were in a joint venture with Marshall Macklin Monaghan to provide design and environmental services to MRDC on the project.  TAC Environmental Achievement Award
